Not content with the conquering worlds in the previous instalment, Nintendo's portly mascot took on the galaxy; and the result blew everyone away. two years after taking to the skies, Mario returns to go on a galactic adventure in Super Mario Galaxy 2 - bringing back all the fun and adventure from the first game of computer.
The story is the same as the always - Bowser has yet again captured princes Peach, and it's up to Mario to save the day. Though the story is quite simple and minimal, it never comes off as when less is more, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 doesn't disappoint. This game is very useful for the users of the desktop computers.
Gameplay
If you have played the first game you will be able to  jump into the action will relative ease. Having said that, the Game's controls are so intuitive that even those who play the series for the first time will have no qalms with it. This instalment has completely done away with the hub system from the first title and now makes use of a fairly simple map system, similar to previous Mario planet, shaped like his head - hence called Starship Mario - where players can view their trophies, track their progress and even discover a few secrets. The game is divided into six words, each containing numerous levels that players have have to navigate through.
Audio and visuals:
Virtually identical to its predecessor in terms of graphics, Super Mario Galaxy 2 does not show any signs of drastic visual improvements at first glance, however, after inverting some time into the game, you will see interesting new addition like fur-shading.
Verdict:
Super Mario Galaxy 2 menages to deliver the extremely fun gameplay that gamers expect From Nintendo games. Even though it doesn't hold a lot of content for plot obsessed players.
