Although there are extensive laws against spam, it is always better to decrease or prevent spam in your inbox yourself. Here are few steps to escape those dreaded mails.

>Disguise your e-mail address: When posting your address on Web forms, abfuscate your e-mail addresses to avoud e-mail harvestng. For example, Use name AT hotmail DOT cam. Also, whenever possible avoid your home ao business address for online registration purposes.
>Check for checkboxes: When disclosing your e-mail address on a website, check its privacy policy to see if they pass to third parties. opt out of receiving third party e-mails.
>Use Spam filters: Adjust the spam filters setting of your e-mail service and instell anti-spam software to award off spam. Always report spam and update your antivirus software.
